Beauty from the inside out...
MORE AND MORE EVIDENCE  is emerging: what you eat has a enormous influence on how you look. The right diet can actually erase years, by speeding up skin cell reproduction and fighting wrinkle.

Skin- enhancing nutrition advice

Fruit Bowl:

Prunes, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and kiwis contain high amounts of antioxidants that that protect cells from age- accelerating free radical damage.

Omega-3:Salmon, sardines, almonds and walnuts contain essential fatty acids like omega- 3 that may reduce the inflammation that can clog skin and lead to wrinkles.

" C" is for Collagen:Broccoli, cauliflower, cantaloupe and tomatoes are all great sources of  vitamin C. Vitamin C helps maintain collagen, which is the most important component of skin's underlying, connective tissue.

Eat Your Sunscreen: A study published in "free Radical Biology and Medicine" revealed that foods rich in beta-carotene, like cantaloupe, carrots and sweet potatoes, inhibit collagen breakdowns and defend cells against the king of ultraviolet radiation that can lead to wrinkles and age spots.

Honey
Treatment with honey is referred to as apitherapy and includes replenishing energy, enhancing physical stamina and strengthening those weakened by illness or stress. honey can also help calm the mind and promote rejuvenating sleep.

Scalp Renew:
Always keep your hair and scalp healthy. You will look and feel better.

Thick Hair: Cut and texturizing regular or moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. After styling, use ultra shine complex for condition shine and movement. Medium to Firm hold hair spray for added control.

Color Treated or Foiled Hair: to restore moisture, we recommend Hydrating or color shampoo and conditioner. After drying, apply ultra shine complex for conditioning and for shine. It will not make your hair flat.

Permed or Chemically Straightened Hair:

Use gentle cleansing shampoo and conditioner: Some chemically treated hair will need a sulfate and sodium chlorine (salt) free shampoo and conditioner.

Curly Hair: To keep hair curly, use a shampoo and conditioner for curly/wavy hair. To dry, use curl enhancing lotion and blow dry with a diffuser. Use a wax or paste to define curl. If you prefer to wear it straight, use a regular or anti- curl shampoo and conditioner and anti-curl shampoo and conditioner and anti-curl lotion. Blow dry with a large round brush and flat iron. Then apply an alcohol-free spray shine.

Straight/Flat Hair: Regular or volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Use a mousse or light gel. Blow dry for fullness. Optional; big barrel curl iron or large Velcro rollers.

Extremely Dry Hair: Consider a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner nanoworks. Once a week, treat with a hydrating mask for 10 minutes.

Oily Hair: Shampoo daily with Shampoo and conditioner for oily hair and scalp. Shampoo once a week with clarifying shampoo. Rinse with cold water to seal cuticle. Use extra body mousse to style.

Flat/Limp Hair: Body or thickening shampoo and conditioner. Use root lifter or extra body volumizing mousse.

Cuts: Every 4 to 5 weeks for short hair. Every 4 to 6 weeks for long hair. 5 to 7 weeks if you are growing it out.

Sensitive Scalp: Consult your stylist for the best remedy. Sensitivity could be the result of medications, allergies or harsh products.

Hairloss: Could be the result of the lack of vitamins, stress, surgery, medications or after giving birth. Some shampoo and conditioner may promote regrowth.

Switching Shampoo/Conditioner: You don't always see a difference, but you will look and feel better.

Pulling Gray Hair Out: By doing so can cause your scalp to became infected and scarred.

Avoid Coloring Your Hair at Home:  Results can be the wrong color, dry looking and expensive to fix. Try to find reasonable and fairly inexpensive salon or ask for our Junior Stylist
(if you are on a budget).

Trying a New Hairdresser:Consultation is a must before any service is done.
Things that need to be considered - shape of face, type of job, active lifestyle and time to maintain it, are taken into consideration.
